Get World Tree Holy Water in Palworld
Where World Tree Holy Water comes from in Palworld 1.0: expeditions, fishing, Pal drops and Teafant Spring, and what you use it for.
Table of contents
World Tree Holy Water is a consumable you find in the World Tree and need for Awakening Crystals and several Ancient builds. No merchant sells it, so this guide covers where it drops, what it does and what it is used for.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026; paldb.cc game data v1.0.5), October 2026.
What it does
paldb.cc says that when you drink it, World Tree resources will not vanish when you approach them for a while. That fits Pocketpair's 1.0.3 notes, which mention a World Tree Holy Water effect and aura that shows near trees in the World Tree area, and say the effect's duration was extended. Neither the wiki nor paldb.cc gives how long it lasts, so this guide gives no time. For the gathering routine itself, see Gather World Tree resources in Palworld.
The wiki and paldb.cc and Pocketpair's 1.0.3 notes agree on its weight: 0.1, down from 1.
Where to get it
Neither the wiki nor paldb.cc lists a merchant that sells it, so every unit is a drop or a reward. Pocketpair's 1.0.3 notes mention these sources:
- World Tree expeditions. The notes added it to the expedition rewards, and paldb.cc lists it for both the standard and the Hard Mode World Tree expeditions. See Send Pals on expeditions in Palworld.
- World Tree fishing and the Large Fishing Pond. The notes added it to the rewards for both, and paldb.cc lists World Tree fishing and fishpond rewards that include it. See Fish at the World Tree in Palworld.
- Pals in the World Tree area. The notes raised the amount they drop. The wiki and paldb.cc both list Dandilord among the Pals that drop it, and paldb.cc lists many more.
- Teafant Spring. The notes raised the amount from it, and the wiki also names Teafant Springs in the World Tree as a source. The wiki gives approximate map coordinates for three spots. paldb.cc does not, so they are not repeated here.
The wiki adds that Pals in the Ancient Laboratory drop a little as well. paldb.cc has no matching entry, so treat that as unconfirmed.
At 0.1 each it weighs almost nothing, so bring a good stack on every World Tree trip.
What it is used for
- Awakening Crystals. The wiki and paldb.cc both give 10 Holy Water per crystal, made from Radiant Gems of one element. See How to awaken Pals in Palworld and Where to get Radiant Gems in Palworld.
- Drone Launcher. Both sites list the Drone Launcher among the recipes that use it. Pocketpair's 1.0 notes describe it as a launcher that can deploy up to nine combat drones at once.
- Ancient build objects. paldb.cc says it goes into several Ancient-themed structures. The wiki names the Ancient Clinic, Ancient Farm, Ancient Hot Spring and Ancient Pal Bed, and also lists a Nutrient Tonic and the Paloxite Ingot among its recipes.
- The Ancient Relic Recycler. The wiki says it speeds recycling up, and paldb.cc lists it with the Recycler's items. The wiki's figures for that are not repeated here. See Use the Ancient Relic Recycler in Palworld.
The wiki gives recipe amounts for these, but paldb.cc's page does not map every recipe clearly, so read the cost in the crafting menu before you gather for a build.
