Use the Advanced Air Strike Plugin on Rust

Add F15 air strikes and nukes to Rust with the paid Codefling plugin: upload it by hand, set permissions, commands, shop and cooldowns.

Updated 4 min read

Advanced Air Strike [F15] lets a player mark a spot with a binocular designator and call in an F15 run on it, either a standard strike or a nuke. Server owners control how many planes fly, how many rockets they fire, the damage, the cooldowns and who may use it. This guide covers getting it onto your server, the permissions and commands, the shop, and the settings worth changing first.

Checked against Advanced Air Strike [F15] 1.5.2 by Khaled on its Codefling page (released 14 October 2026), October 2026. The page marks it as compatible with both Oxide and Carbon.

Where to get it

Advanced Air Strike is a paid plugin sold on Codefling, not on uMod. The Plugins tab searches uMod, so a search there won't find it. Install it by hand:

  1. Buy the plugin on its Codefling page and download its files. Upload what the page tells you to.
  2. On your Rust server, open the File Manager and go to oxide/plugins (on Carbon, carbon/plugins).
  3. Upload the plugin files there and keep their names as downloaded.
  4. Carbon loads a plugin it finds in its plugins folder by itself. If it doesn't load, Restart the server, or in the Console run oxide.load <Name> on Oxide or c.load <Name> on Carbon, where <Name> is the plugin's name. c.reload <Name> reloads it on Carbon. The config file appears after the first load.

The server needs Oxide or Carbon first. How to install Oxide/uMod plugins on your Rust server covers that.

How it plays

A player holds a designator, aims, and left-clicks to mark a target point. The aircraft spawn, fly their run, fire and clean up on their own. The page lists four strike modes: precise, circle, line and carpet. The designators are the Strike one and the Nuke one, and each has its own settings for planes, shots, rocket speed, delay and cooldown.

Permissions

PermissionWhat it allows
f15estrike.strikeUsing Strike designators
f15estrike.nukeUsing Nuke designators
f15estrike.strike.giveGiving Strike designators to other players
f15estrike.nuke.giveGiving Nuke designators to other players
f15estrike.adminFull admin access and the admin panel

Permissions only exist once the plugin has loaded. Give a group the right to use strikes from the Console:

oxide.grant group default f15estrike.strike

On Carbon, use c.grant group default f15estrike.strike.

Commands

CommandWhat it does
/f15Opens the in-game F15 store
/strikeGives the player a Strike designator
/nukeGives the player a Nuke designator
/strike give <name or SteamID64>Gives a Strike designator to another player
/nuke give <name or SteamID64>Gives a Nuke designator to another player

The page says the command names can be changed in the config. Its sample config shows the Strike and Nuke entries under Commands with Enabled set to false.

The shop and payment

The plugin has an optional in-game store for buying designators. The page lists four payment providers: Scrap, Economics, ServerRewards and IQEconomic. Its sample config sets Provider (Economics/ServerRewards/Scrap) to ServerRewards, with a Strike cost of 1500 and a Nuke cost of 10000. If you don't run a points plugin, change the provider to Scrap, or install one. How to use the Server Rewards plugin on your Rust server covers one.

Settings worth knowing

Open Installed on the Plugins tab, press Config, edit, Save, then Reload plugin. The sample config on the page gives these defaults:

  • Strike: 1 plane, 10 shots per plane, a 5 second confirm delay and a 60 second cooldown.
  • Nuke: 5 planes, 10 shots per plane, a 6 second confirm delay and a 120 second cooldown.
  • Blocked use zones: a strike is blocked while the caller is in a safe zone, and a target point can't be inside a safe zone or monument bounds.
  • Global warnings: the server announces a marked target, a countdown and inbound aircraft, with the map grid.
  • Damage: building and player damage each have an on switch and a percentage scale, both starting at 100.

The plugin also has an in-game admin panel for store, strike, warning and zone settings, so you can change them without editing the file. The page lists panel access under f15estrike.admin.

Common problems

  1. A player can't use a designator. They need f15estrike.strike or f15estrike.nuke.
  2. The shop can't take payment. The provider in the config isn't installed. Install it or change the provider.
  3. The permissions don't exist. The plugin is still unloaded. Restart, or run oxide.load (Oxide) or c.load (Carbon) with the plugin's name.
