Install Billy's Logs (bLogs) on GMod

Install Billy's Logs from the GmodStore tab, add the XEON DRM module, activate your licence and keep the default local storage.

Updated 3 min read

Billy's Logs (bLogs) is a paid logging system for Garry's Mod, sold on GmodStore and built as a module for GmodAdminSuite. Staff use it to see what happened on the server: prop and NPC spawns, toolgun use, DarkRP arrests, job changes and money moves, and TTT body discoveries and karma kicks. It can also send logs to Discord webhooks. This guide installs it from your GmodStore tab with the default local storage.

What you need first

  • A GmodStore account that has bought Billy's Logs.
  • GmodAdminSuite on the server. bLogs lists it as a requirement.
  • The XEON DRM module. See Install XEON DRM on a GMod server. The GmodStore tab will remind you if it is missing.
  • A server with working inbound and outbound HTTP requests from Garry's Mod, which the listing also asks for. GmodStore recommends Steam Guard on your account.

Connect your GmodStore account

You do this once. The token is saved on your Play Your Way account, so it works for all your Garry's Mod servers.

  1. Open your server and go to the GmodStore tab, under Content.
  2. Press Open GmodStore. In your GmodStore account settings, open Personal access tokens and create a new one with these permissions: user-purchases:read, products:read, product-versions:read and product-versions:download. The tab says they let it read your purchases and download them, and that the token can't buy or change anything.
  3. Paste the token into Access token and press Connect. The tab then shows Connected as and your GmodStore name.

Install bLogs

  1. Switch the tab's view to Store. It lists the addons you have bought.
  2. Find Billy's Logs and press Install. The tab downloads the latest version and places its folders in garrysmod/addons.
  3. If the tab shows One more file: the XEON DRM module, add the module as described in the XEON guide.
  4. Open the File Manager and check that garrysmod/addons holds both the bLogs folder and the xeon-drm folder.
  5. Restart the server from the Console tab.
  6. Join the server and follow the on-screen instructions to activate your licence, as the listing says. Then restart once more.

GmodStore's own installation steps for bLogs run in the same order: GmodAdminSuite, the addon, restart, activate, restart again.

Leave storage on its default

MySQL storage isn't available on our plans, so leave the storage on its default, local storage.

Using it

The listing says all configuration is done in game, with no config files to edit, and that each logging module can be switched on or off in the menu at any time. Billy's addons plug into GmodAdminSuite as modules, according to the listing. The listing also names a Storage Management feature that sets maximum amounts of logs, which helps if your logs grow large.

Keeping it up to date

When GmodStore has a newer version, the Installed view shows it, and updating keeps your configuration files. The same view removes the addon, which deletes its folders from garrysmod/addons.

Common problems

  1. A badge reading Needs XEON DRM. The module isn't in garrysmod/lua/bin yet.
  2. The tab says your token is no longer accepted. Create a new token and connect again. If it says a permission is missing, tick all four permissions listed above.
  3. A note reading Folder missing. Someone deleted the addon's folder. Update it in the Installed view to put it back.

Checked against the GmodStore listing for Billy's Logs (its page was last updated 3 October 2026), October 2026.
