Find Alpha and Legendary Pals in Palworld
Level and map coordinates for 56 Alpha and legendary Pal bosses in Palworld 1.0.5 that two sources agree on, plus what was left out and why.
Alpha Pals are oversized boss versions of ordinary Pals that wait at fixed spots on the map, and a few of them are the legendary Pals. This guide lists the 56 Alpha and legendary bosses whose level and map coordinates two sources agree on, and says what was left out and why.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026; paldb.cc game data v1.0.5), October 2026.
What an Alpha Pal is
The wiki says Alpha Pals look like their normal versions but are a good deal larger, with more HP, and that they are usually harder to capture. It adds that an Alpha may either be neutral or attack on sight. The wiki and paldb.cc both show Ancient Civilization Parts among their drops, and Pocketpair's 0.6.4 notes say the amount of Ancient Civilization Parts dropped by certain Alpha Pals was increased. Pocketpair's 1.0 notes also say the chance of catching Alpha Pals from fishing ponds was increased.
The wiki says some Alphas stand in the open world and some sit inside a Sealed Realm you enter first. In the landmark column below, a name that starts with "Sealed Realm" is the entrance.
How to read the coordinates
Both sources give an X, Y pair. The two sources differ by at most 2 map units on a few of them, so treat each pair as the spot to head for, not an exact pin. The numbers below are paldb.cc's. paldb.cc's Palpagos Islands map opens at a pair if you put it in the address, for example https://paldb.cc/en/Palpagos_Islands?pos=-113%2C-628.
Bring enough Pal Spheres and a strong team. Alphas are tough, and the level column is the boss's own level, not a suggestion for yours.
Alpha Pals up to level 40
Alpha Pals from level 45, including the legendary Pals
Paladius and Necromus share the same coordinates in both sources. Frostallion, Frostallion Noct, Jetragon, Paladius, Necromus and Neptilius are the ones the wiki titles as legends or legendary. For Jetragon in particular, see Capture and ride a Jetragon in Palworld.
What was left out
The wiki's list has 61 bosses. Five are not in the tables above because the two sources disagree or one is missing:
- Verdash: the wiki puts it at 258, 10 and paldb.cc at 285, 10.
- Kingpaca Cryst: the wiki puts it at -230, 470 and paldb.cc at -385, 356.
- Menasting Terra: the wiki says level 54 and paldb.cc says level 55.
- Silvegis: the wiki says level 59 and paldb.cc says level 62.
- Eye of Cthulhu, the Terraria boss: paldb.cc gives no coordinates for it.
The wiki also describes Alpha bosses at the end of dungeons, which have no fixed map spot, so none are listed. The wiki marks its own Alpha page as out of date for 1.0, which is another reason this guide keeps only the entries paldb.cc's 1.0.5 data matches.
