Craft the Corrosive Mist Mask in Palworld
The Corrosive Mist Mask recipe, unlock level and where Toxin Filtering Membrane and Paloxite come from, checked against Palworld 1.0.5.
The Corrosive Mist Mask is a Legendary accessory that stops the damage you take from corrosive mist. You unlock it with Technology and make it at the Ancient Workbench, and the awkward part is collecting its two materials. This guide covers the recipe, where each material comes from and what the mask does.

What the mask does
palworld.wiki.gg and paldb.cc quote the same item text: "A mask with a special filtration system. Negates damage taken from corrosive mist." Both list its equip effect as Toxic Gas Immunity, and both file it as a Legendary accessory that weighs 2.
Unlock and recipe
Both sites say the mask unlocks at Technology level 76 and is crafted at the Ancient Workbench. They agree on the two main ingredients:
- 10 Toxin Filtering Membrane
- 30 Paloxite
The wiki lists the unlock as costing Ancient Technology Points, which paldb.cc does not mention.
Pocketpair's 1.0 notes say accessories are now crafted from schematics. Neither database lists a schematic for this mask. They show a plain Technology unlock at level 76, so look in the Technology menu first.
Where the materials come from
Toxin Filtering Membrane. Both sites list the Alpha Dandilord as the source, at 5 to 10 membranes with a 100% drop rate. The wiki adds that you cannot buy or craft it. The membrane is an organ that, in the item's own words on paldb.cc, "protects Dandilord from the corrosive mist it emits". Paloxite. Pocketpair's 1.0 notes say Paloxite is a new ore that can only be mined at the World Tree. The wiki says it cannot be bought or crafted. The routes to it are in How to gather World Tree resources in Palworld.
Gather the Toxin Filtering Membranes and the Paloxite before you reach the Ancient Workbench, so you only make the trip to the bench once.
On your hosted server
The mask is part of the base game, so nothing needs installing on your server. The World Settings tab has no setting for the mist or the mask. Dandilord's drops come from defeating it, and the Rates group has an Enemy loot rate slider described as items dropped by defeated enemies. The other rates are in Palworld server settings explained.
