All Flying Mounts in Palworld
Every Pal paldb.cc lists as a flying mount in 1.0.5, the unlock levels two sources agree on and how glider Pals differ.
A flying mount lets you ride a Pal through the air. This guide lists the Pals that paldb.cc shows as flying mounts in Palworld 1.0, separates them from glider Pals and gives the unlock levels that two sources agree on.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026), October 2026. The wiki's mount page says it is outdated for 1.0, so this guide leans on paldb.cc's v1.0.5 data and says where only it speaks.
The flying mounts
paldb.cc lists 29 flying mounts. The wiki lists 22 of the same Pals on its older page, and every Pal on the wiki list is also on paldb.cc. The 29 on paldb.cc are:
- Nitewing, Elphidran, Elphidran Aqua, Vanwyrm and Vanwyrm Cryst
- Helzephyr, Helzephyr Lux, Beakon and Beakon Cryst
- Ragnahawk, Quivern, Quivern Botan, Astegon and Dynamoff
- Suzaku, Suzaku Aqua, Shadowbeak, Selyne and Roujay
- Faleris, Faleris Aqua, Frostallion and Frostallion Noct
- Xenolord, Eidrolon, Eidrolon Ignis, Shaolong and Jetragon
- Panthalus
Seven of those appear only on paldb.cc: Beakon Cryst, Dynamoff, Roujay, Eidrolon, Eidrolon Ignis, Shaolong and Panthalus. The wiki page does not list them, so verify them in game before you plan around one.
Unlock levels
You ride a Pal once you unlock its saddle in the Technology tree. The wiki and paldb.cc agree on these unlock levels:
- Nitewing at level 15
- Elphidran at level 20
- Vanwyrm at level 21 and Vanwyrm Cryst at level 22
- Helzephyr at level 25
- Beakon at level 29
- Ragnahawk at level 33
- Shadowbeak and Helzephyr Lux at level 47
paldb.cc shows Jetragon at level 70, while the wiki's older table says 79. Pocketpair's 1.0.3 notes say the unlock level of "some Jetragon-related technologies" was changed from 79 to 70. The sites disagree on the rest, since the wiki's table predates 1.0, so this guide leaves their levels out. Check the Technology tree in game.
Glider Pals are different
Some Pals help a glider and are not mounts. The wiki lists Celaray, Killamari, Hangyu, Galeclaw, Killamari Primo, Celaray Lux and Hangyu Cryst as glider Pals. Pocketpair's 1.0 notes say that for glider-enhancing Pals you no longer need to craft Pal Gear, and you can use the Partner Skill the moment you catch the Pal.
For one flying mount in detail, see How to capture and ride a Jetragon in Palworld.
On a hosted server
Mounts are part of the base game, so your server needs no mod for them, and the World Settings tab has no mount settings. For the rates it does control, see Palworld server settings explained.
