Where to Find Epic Pal Effigies in Palworld
The four Epic-rarity Pal Effigies (Lunaris, Relaxaurus, Yakumo, Mimog), what each improves at a Statue of Power and how to track them, on 1.0.5.
Pal Effigies are collectables you offer at a Statue of Power to improve your own character. paldb.cc also lists Rare effigies of other Pals, which this guide does not cover. It covers only the four Epic ones, what each improves at the statue and the best-supported ways to track them down.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026), October 2026.
What changed in 1.0
Pocketpair's 1.0 notes say the Lifmunk Effigy was reworked into the "Pal Effigy": you can now collect effigies of various Pals to enhance your stats, and Lifmunk Effigies you already had carry over. Effigies are spent at a Statue of Power. The wiki and paldb.cc agree it costs 20 Stone and 10 Paldium Fragment to build and that it unlocks at level 9. The wiki adds that a Statue you build and one found in the wild work the same way.
The four Epic effigies
paldb.cc lists the Lunaris, Relaxaurus, Yakumo and Mimog Effigies as Epic rarity, against Rare for the Lifmunk and Lamball ones. The wiki agrees on Epic for Lunaris and Mimog. What they improve:
- Lunaris Effigy: Sphere Tracking, so thrown spheres pursue their targets.
- Relaxaurus Effigy: EXP Gain.
- Yakumo Effigy: Rainbow Fortune, which paldb.cc says raises the chance of wild Pals having better passive skills.
- Mimog Effigy: Movement Speed.
paldb.cc lists four each of the Lunaris, Relaxaurus and Yakumo Effigies, and the wiki's Statue of Power table gives each of those enhancements four levels. The two sites disagree on how many Lifmunk Effigies exist, so treat any total you read on a guide site as unconfirmed.
Where to find them
Neither source gives map coordinates for these. What they do say:
- The wiki says Lunaris Effigies are "rarely found scattered around the Palpagos Islands" and Relaxaurus Effigies are scattered around the islands, typically in small out-of-the-way crevices.
- paldb.cc says effigies are found all around the Palpagos Islands.
- The wiki and paldb.cc say the Mimog Effigy comes as a reward for capturing many Pals.
Track them with Nox
Pocketpair's 1.0 notes list a new detection skill: Nox's Partner Skill, Kuudere, now "detects the location of nearby Pal Effigies" when activated. The wiki and paldb.cc say the same. Bring a Nox when you explore to reveal effigies near you. paldb.cc also says its map tool can filter for Pal Effigies.
Check behind waterfalls, on rocky peaks and in crevices. The wiki gives these places for Lifmunk Effigies, and its Relaxaurus page says the same about crevices.
On a hosted server
Pal Effigies are part of the base game, so your server needs no mod for them. The World Settings tab has no effigy settings. For the rates it does control, see Palworld server settings explained.
