Install Reliquary Reincarnations

Reliquary Reincarnations is a collection of magical items and blocks that are hard to get but make life easier, such as the Coin of Fortune, the Hunter's Handgun and the Void Tear. P3pp3rF1y maintains it, and it carries on the old Reliquary mod by x3n0ph0b3 and TheMike. It is needed on the server and on every player's game.

Checked against Reliquary Reincarnations 2.0.81.1579 on NeoForge 1.21.1, October 2026.

Pick the server version

Modrinth lists builds for Minecraft 1.20.1 (Forge and NeoForge, 2.0.66), 1.21.1 (NeoForge, 2.0.81.1579, 17 October 2026) and newer releases up to 26.3, all for NeoForge. The 1.21.1 jar asks for Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge 21.1.229 or newer. The panel installs the newest stable NeoForge build for the version you pick, which is well past that.

Open JAR Manager under More, set Server software to NeoForge and Minecraft version to 1.21.1, then press Apply change. Leave Take a backup first ticked, then press and hold Confirm & reinstall for 3 seconds. The panel picks Java 21 for you. Change your Minecraft version or mod loader has the full steps. For 1.20.1 pick Forge or NeoForge instead. For a newer Minecraft version, pick that version here instead, and the Game version filter in the store follows it.

What it needs

Nothing is required. Modrinth lists Jade, Curios API and Just Enough Items (JEI) as optional extras. Install them only if you want them, and keep players on the same ones.

Install it

1. Open Mods under Content. The Modrinth chip is selected by default, and the Game version filter starts on your server's version.
2. Search for Reliquary Reincarnations and press Install. If a window offers the optional extras, leave them unticked unless you want them.
3. Restart from the Console tab.

Open the Installed view afterwards. Reliquary Reincarnations should show with no Failed to load badge.

Players need it too

Each player installs the same Reliquary Reincarnations build for NeoForge 1.21.1. Join a modded server from your launcher covers the player side, and Fix the mismatched mod channel list error explains the refusal when versions differ.

What it adds

The project page lists the Coin of Fortune, a magnet that pulls items and experience to you, the Hunter's Handgun with several kinds of shot, the Infernal Chalice for carrying lava, the Interdiction Torch that pushes mobs away, the Lilypad of Fertility, mob charms, the Sojourner's Staff for placing torches, the Void Tear for storing a huge number of one item, and the Witherless Rose. There is also a Pedestal block, a Tome of Alkahestry for duplicating items at a cost, and a custom potion system. The mod has its own wiki on GitHub.

Server settings

The common config file is reliquary-common.toml in the config folder. The author says every option has a description in the in-game mod configuration. Stop the server before you edit the file in the File Manager. Keys the jar defines:

• chestLootEnabled (true) and mobDropsEnabled (true) control Reliquary items in chest loot and as mob drops.
• In the disable section, handgun, potion, pedestal, passivePedestal, charms, alkahestryTome and disableSpawnEggRecipes (all false) switch off whole parts of the mod.

Common problems

• The server stops at startup: open the Console. The 1.21.1 jar's mod file asks for Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge 21.1.229 or newer, so check the server matches first. Fix mod and plugin errors on Minecraft covers reading the log.
• The mod is missing from the store: the Game version filter follows your server. Pick a version that has a build, such as 1.20.1 or 1.21.1.
