Get the Wandering Merchant Charm in Palworld
What the charm does, where its schematic can come from in Palworld 1.0 and the materials and stations that craft it.
The Wandering Merchant Charm is an accessory for long trips: it raises your heat and cold resistance and lets you carry more. Like every accessory since Palworld 1.0, you craft it from a schematic you have to find first. This guide covers what it does, where the schematic can turn up and what the craft costs.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026), October 2026.
What the charm does
paldb.cc describes it as an accessory that "greatly raises Heat and Cold Resistance" and "significantly increases carrying capacity". No second source confirms that description or the exact levels, so this guide leaves the numbers out. Read the item tooltip in game for the exact levels.
The charm is an accessory you craft and equip. You do not buy it from a Wandering Merchant, whatever the name suggests: the Wandering Merchant shop list on paldb.cc does not include it.
How you get accessories in 1.0
Pocketpair's 1.0 notes say accessories are no longer found as physical items. They are crafted from schematics, and "Schematics can be obtained at a low rate from treasure chests, Ancient Ruins, large-scale oil rigs, and more". The Wandering Merchant Charm Schematic follows that rule.
Where the schematic comes from
paldb.cc is the only source that names places for this schematic, and they match Pocketpair's categories:
- an Ancient Ruin on the Emberstone Plateau
- the Sunreach treasure chests
- the large chest on a level 60 oil rig
paldb.cc rates the ruin as a guaranteed find and the chests as low-chance. The wiki's accessory list does not include the charm, so we do not quote any percentage or map coordinates. Because drops can shift in a patch, confirm the spot against a current database before a long trek.
Craft the charm
Hold the schematic in your inventory and the recipe unlocks. paldb.cc lists Polymer, Leather, Flame Organ, Ice Organ and Ancient Bone as the materials. No second source confirms the amounts, so check them on screen.
The wiki's station pages list the charm at the Production Assembly Line, the Production Assembly Line II, the Advanced Workshop and the Ancient Workbench, so you can craft it at any of them.
On a hosted server
Nothing here needs a mod, so the charm works the same on your server as in single player. The World Settings tab does not have a setting for schematic drops. See Palworld server settings explained for the rates it does control.
