Get the Phantom Ring in Palworld
What the Phantom Ring does, where its schematic can come from in Palworld 1.0 and the materials and stations that craft it.
The Phantom Ring is an accessory that makes your dodges safer. Since Palworld 1.0 you do not find accessories as finished items. You find a schematic, then craft the ring yourself. This guide covers what the ring does, where its schematic can come from and what you need to craft it.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026), October 2026.
What the Phantom Ring does
paldb.cc describes it as an accessory that extends the invincibility period of rolls and sidesteps. The wiki has no page for the ring, so no second source backs the description or gives a number for the extension, and this guide does not quote one.
How accessories work in 1.0
Pocketpair's 1.0 notes explain the change. Accessories used to drop as ready-made items. In the notes' words, "The method for obtaining accessories has been changed from acquiring them as physical items to crafting them from schematics". The same notes say "Schematics can be obtained at a low rate from treasure chests, Ancient Ruins, large-scale oil rigs, and more", and that the old "+1 / +2" system is gone. The notes also say 44 new accessories were added in that release.
Where the schematic comes from
Only paldb.cc names where the Phantom Ring Schematic turns up, and it lists three kinds of source that match Pocketpair's wording:
- an Ancient Ruin, which paldb.cc names as Thawtide Cape
- the Sunreach treasure chests
- the large chest on a level 60 oil rig
paldb.cc shows the chests and the oil rig as low-chance sources and the Ancient Ruin as a guaranteed one. The wiki has no page for the ring, so only paldb.cc backs the named places and we are not quoting its figures or coordinates.
Where a schematic drops can change between patches. Treat the places above as leads and check them against a current database.
Craft the ring
With the schematic in your inventory, the recipe unlocks. paldb.cc lists Refined Ingots, Plasteel, Pal Metal Ingots and Ancient Bone as the materials, but no second source confirms the amounts, so check them on screen. The wiki's station pages show the ring crafted at the Production Assembly Line, the Production Assembly Line II, the Advanced Workshop and the Ancient Workbench, so any of these works.
On your server
The ring is part of the base game, so every player finds it the same way on a hosted world. The World Settings tab does not have a switch for schematics or oil rig chests. For the rates that it does cover, see Palworld server settings explained.
