ValheimGame guides
Valheim bosses and Forsaken powers
Where each Valheim boss lives, what it drops and which Forsaken power it gives, from Eikthyr to Fader, plus what is known of the Deep North's boss.
Valheim has seven original bosses and, since Valheim 1.0, an eighth in the Deep North. Each of the seven lives in its own biome, drops a trophy and a named item, and has a Forsaken power. This guide lists where each boss is found, what it drops and what its power does.
Checked against Valheim 1.0.20 (patch of 15 October 2026), October 2026.
Where each boss lives and what it drops
The bosses are listed in the order of the biomes they guard, from the first biome to the last.
Forsaken powers
Iron Gate rebalanced all seven powers in the Call to Arms patch (0.221.4), so older guides may list different numbers. These are the current effects.
Kall Fimbulbringer in the Deep North
Valheim 1.0 added a new biome, the Deep North, and a boss for it named Kall Fimbulbringer. Iron Gate's patch notes list him, and the wiki's Deep North page names him as the biome's boss. Kall's drops and power are not yet documented by Iron Gate or a reliable wiki.
Bosses on your server
Your character is saved on your own PC or console, not on the server. If you want an easier or harder fight, the Combat dial and the world presets change how hard you hit and how hard enemies hit back; see Valheim world modifiers on a dedicated server. If you don't have a server yet, start with How to make a Valheim dedicated server or see Valheim server hosting.
