Set up the All the Mods 10 modpack server
Install All the Mods 10 on a Minecraft 1.21.1 NeoForge server from the Modpacks tab, plus the server.properties values the pack's own script sets.
All the Mods 10 (ATM10) is a large mixed-content modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 on NeoForge. Its CurseForge page calls it a continuation of the All the Mods series, now on NeoForge, with a mix of well-known and lesser-known mods, tons of quests and a proper endgame. You install the server from the Modpacks tab, using the pack's own server files.
Checked against All the Mods 10 8.3 (the CurseForge file dated 15 October 2026) on NeoForge 21.1.259 and Minecraft 1.21.1, October 2026.
What the pack needs
- Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge 21.1.259. The server files include
neoforge-21.1.259-installer.jar. Minecraft 1.21.1 runs on Java 21, which the panel picks for you. - Memory. The server files' own
user_jvm_args.txtsets-Xms4Gand-Xmx8G, so the authors size the heap at up to 8 GB. The panel writes its own launch script and sizes the heap from your plan, so those values are not used. Read how much RAM a Minecraft server needs and check the Minecraft plans before you install. - Disk space. The server files are a download of about 1.2 GB and unpack to about 1.4 GB. The download sits on your plan's disk while it unpacks, so you need room for both.
- The same pack version for players. Players need the same version your server installs. This guide was checked against 8.3. The pack updates often.
Install the server
- Open your server and choose Modpacks under Content in the left rail.
- In the search card, press the CurseForge button in the row of sources, then search for
All the Mods 10. - Press Install on All the Mods 10 - ATM10. All the Mods 10: To the Sky, All the Mods 10 Lite and the other editions are separate packs.
- The popup says it reinstalls your server with the pack and names NeoForge and Minecraft 1.21.1.
- Leave Take a backup first ticked. Your current world is replaced by the pack's. Tick Start the server when it's ready if you want it to start itself. Once that is ticked, an I agree to the Minecraft EULA box may appear if the EULA has not been accepted yet, and you tick it too.
- Hold Install and reinstall until it fills, then wait for the install to finish.
The server files ship the NeoForge installer, and the panel runs it during the install.
Match the pack's server settings
The pack's startserver.sh creates a server.properties with allow-flight=true, max-tick-time=180000, simulation-distance=5 and view-distance=8 when none exists. The panel does not run that script, so set them yourself in the Config Editor:
- Allow flight under Gameplay. The editor's help says it is needed for most flight mods.
- Watchdog timeout (ms) under Performance. The watchdog kills the server when a single tick takes longer than this, and the pack's script sets it to 180000.
- Simulation distance (chunks) and View distance (chunks) under Performance.
First start
Press Start on the Console tab and accept the EULA if the panel asks. The mods folder holds 469 files, so allow plenty of time. The server is up when the console prints a line containing For help, type. Your address is in the left rail with a copy button beside it. The Server address label shows on wide screens only. Connect to your server for the first time covers adding it in Minecraft.
Common problems
- A player cannot join. Check they run the same All the Mods 10 version as the server, on Minecraft 1.21.1 with NeoForge.
- The install stops while unpacking. Your plan's disk may be too small. Check Disk Analyser, clear space and install again.
- The server lags or runs out of memory. Watch the RAM card on the Console tab and the TPS reading in the left rail. Why is my server lagging has more.
- The server crashes at boot. Find and read a crash report shows how to name the mod at fault. The pack takes bug reports on its GitHub page.
Installing a pack reinstalls your server. If you have a world you care about, keep Take a backup first ticked.
