Get the Vanguard Charm in Palworld
Where the Vanguard Charm schematic can come from and what paldb.cc says its heat, cold and Health accessory does, checked against Palworld 1.0.5.
The Vanguard Charm is an accessory that raises your Heat and Cold Resistance and boosts your Health. Since Palworld 1.0 you craft accessories from schematics, so this guide covers what paldb.cc says the charm does, where its schematic can come from and which materials it uses. It leans on paldb.cc alone for the charm itself, because the Palworld wiki has no page for it.
Checked against Palworld v1.0.5 (Pocketpair's latest patch notes, 15 September 2026), October 2026.
What the charm does
paldb.cc describes it as an accessory that greatly raises Heat and Cold Resistance and significantly increases Health. GameWith describes it the same way. The Palworld wiki has no page for this accessory and its accessory list does not include it, so no second source confirms the effect levels or the rarity. This guide therefore quotes no percentages, levels or rarity.
How accessories work in 1.0
Pocketpair's 1.0 notes say you now craft accessories from schematics, and that "Schematics can be obtained at a low rate from treasure chests, Ancient Ruins, large-scale oil rigs, and more". Ancient Ruins were added across the world in 1.0, and the notes say that exploring them and playing their minigames can earn schematics.
Where the schematic comes from
Only paldb.cc names places for the Vanguard Charm Schematic, and they fit Pocketpair's categories:
- an Ancient Ruin in the Scorched Ashland
- the Sunreach treasure chests
- the large chest on an oil rig
paldb.cc lists the Ancient Ruin as a guaranteed find and the chests as low-chance. GameWith only says to get the schematic and then craft, without a location. Because this is one source, this guide quotes no drop percentages or map coordinates, and a patch can move a drop. Confirm the spot against a current database before you go.
Craft the charm
paldb.cc says that with the schematic in your inventory the recipe unlocks, and its schematic page says the charm can be crafted at the Production Assembly Line. The same site lists these materials, and this guide gives no amounts because no second source confirms them:
- Polymer
- Bone
- Flame Organ
- Ice Organ
- Ancient Bone
Open the recipe in game to see the amounts for your version.
The recipe needs both Flame Organ and Ice Organ, so gather both before you head to the workbench.
On a hosted server
The charm is part of the base game, so your server needs no mod for it. The World Settings tab has no setting for schematic drops. The Enemy loot rate setting changes how many items defeated enemies drop, which Pocketpair's server settings page describes as a "dropped item quantity multiplier". Other rates are in Palworld server settings explained.
