Add Infinite Parkour to your server
Add the Infinite Parkour plugin to a Paper or Purpur server, learn its commands, and set the world, permissions and storage options in config.yml.
Infinite Parkour is a plugin that generates a parkour course as a player jumps, so the course never ends and each jump is random. It has leaderboards, spectating, rewards and menus for player settings. It runs on Paper, which the author recommends, and on Purpur. Players do not install anything.
Checked against Infinite Parkour 5.3.1 on Paper 1.21.4, October 2026.
What it needs
- Paper or Purpur. The Modrinth page lists Paper, Purpur and Spigot. Our panel offers Paper and Purpur, and both show a Plugins tab.
- Modrinth lists it up to Minecraft 1.21.4. Its version data covers 1.16 to 1.21.4, though the page text still says 1.16 - 1.20.5, so treat that sentence as out of date. The author's SpigotMC page lists it as tested to 1.21. Neither page lists a newer version, so keep the server within that range. Use JAR Manager to pick a version in range (Change your Minecraft version or mod loader).
- No required plugins. Floodgate, Vault, PlaceholderAPI, Multiverse-Core and VoidGen are optional.
- No updates to expect. 5.3.1 is the newest release, and its GitHub repository is archived.
Install it
- Open the Plugins tab, under Content in the panel menu, with the Modrinth chip selected.
- Search for
Infinite Parkour. Choose Infinite Parkour, not "Infinite Parkour Reborn (3 in 1)" or "Infinite Parkour 2", which are different projects. - Click Install. If it is missing from the results, check the Game version filter: it starts on your server's version.
- Press Restart on the Console tab, or Start if the server is stopped.
Open the Installed view and check that it has no Failed to load badge. For the general steps, see Install Minecraft plugins on Paper or Purpur.
Play it
The plugin registers /witp with the aliases /parkour and /ip, and its own help text lists /parkour as the main command. Players can use:
/parkouron its own to open the main menu./parkour jointo start playing, and/parkour leaveto stop./parkour leaderboardto see the scores.
Operators have extra commands. /ip reload reloads the config files. /ip forcejoin and /ip forceleave take everyone, nearest or a player name. /ip recoverinventory <player> restores a saved inventory, which helps after a crash. The help text warns that /ip reset wipes all high scores and cannot be undone.
You can run the harmless ip help from the Console tab to see the command list.
Settings
The plugin writes config.yml into its data folder, plugins/IP. Edit it in the File Manager (Manage your server files) while the server is stopped. These settings matter most:
joining: truelets players join the parkour.bungeecord.enabledset totruemakes players join the parkour as soon as they log in. The file says you can use it without BungeeCord to make a parkour-only server.world.nameis the world the parkour is played in (defaultwitp), andworld.delete-on-reload(defaulttrue) deletes it when the server reloads or restarts.permissions.enabledisfalseby default, so everyone can play. Set it totrueand give playersip.join, plus others from the permissions list on the plugin's wiki if you want to limit menus.ip.admincovers the admin commands.sql.enabledisfalse, which keeps scores on the server. Leave it that way, because our plans do not include MySQL databases.
Common problems
- Players cannot use the commands: if you turned permissions on, they need
ip.join. - The parkour world is gone after a restart: that is
world.delete-on-reloadat work. Turn it off if you built a custom map. - The plugin does not load: check Console for the error and the version range above (Fix Minecraft mod and plugin load errors).
