Set up a Crundee Craft server

Crundee Craft is a Forge modpack for Minecraft 1.7.10, made by Kehaan. Its CurseForge page says it is the pack used in the Crundee Craft series by SSundee and MrCrainer, so you can play the same pack they do. You install the server from the Modpacks tab, using the pack's own server files.

Checked against Crundee Craft 1.1.8 (the CurseForge file dated 7 September 2026) on Forge 10.13.4.1614 and Minecraft 1.7.10, October 2026.

What the pack needs

• Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge 10.13.4.1614. The server files include forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.jar and minecraft_server.1.7.10.jar, and the panel launches that Forge jar. It runs Minecraft 1.7.10 on Java 8, chosen for you.
• Memory. The CurseForge page gives no figure. The pack's own LaunchServer.sh asks for -Xmx2G, but the panel writes its own launch script and sizes the memory from your plan, so that value is not used. Read how much RAM a Minecraft server needs and check the Minecraft plans before you install.
• Disk space. The server files are a download of about 255 MB and unpack to about 284 MB. The download sits on your plan's disk while it unpacks, so you need room for both.
• The same pack version for players. This guide installs 1.1.8. Players should run that version from the CurseForge app.

Install the server files

1. Open your server and choose Modpacks under Content in the left rail.
2. Press the CurseForge source button, then search for Crundee Craft.
3. Press Install on Crundee Craft.
4. The popup says it reinstalls your server with the pack and names Forge and Minecraft 1.7.10.
5. Leave Take a backup first ticked. Your current world is replaced by the pack's. Tick Start the server when it's ready if you want it to start itself, and tick I agree to the Minecraft EULA if the popup shows it.
6. Hold Install and reinstall until it fills, then wait for the install to finish.

First start

Press Start on the Console tab. If the EULA has not been accepted yet, the panel asks you to accept it first. The server is up when the console prints a line containing For help, type. Your address is in the left rail under Server address. Connect to your server for the first time covers adding it in Minecraft.

Settings the pack sets

The pack ships its own server.properties, and the install keeps it. It sets level-name=World (capital W, so the world folder is World), max-players=20, view-distance=10 and online-mode=true. Open Config Editor to change them: the rows are World folder, Player slots, View distance (chunks) and Online mode. Press Save changes and restart.

The pack includes Fastcraft, enabled by default. The CurseForge page asks anyone who reports a bug to a mod author to say Fastcraft is enabled.

Common problems

• A player cannot join. Check they run Crundee Craft 1.1.8 on Minecraft 1.7.10 with Forge.
• The server lags. Watch the RAM card on the Console tab and the TPS reading in the left rail, lower View distance (chunks), and move to a bigger plan if the RAM card stays full. Why is my server lagging has more.
• The install stops while unpacking. Your plan's disk may be too small. Check Disk Analyser, clear space and install again.
• The server crashes at boot. Find and read a crash report shows how to name the mod at fault.
